Role Overview

We’re looking for a Creative Manager – Copy who lives and breathes social. Someone who understands how content travels, why people stop scrolling, and how writing directly impacts AWT, shares, saves, and brand recall.

This is not a pure ideation role. It’s an ops + strategy heavy position- owning daily content output, ensuring consistency, and driving results at scale. You’ll make sure content is sharp, on-brand, and high-performing.

Roles & Responsibilities

Content Ideation & Writing

• Writes platform-native copy across reels, shorts, carousels, captions, scripts, and campaigns.

• Thinks in hooks, pacing, and payoff—writes for retention, not just cleverness.

• Understands how language, tone, and structure influence watch time and engagement.

• Maintains brand voice consistency while adapting to evolving content formats.

Strategy & Performance Thinking

• Obsesses over performance metrics- AWT, shares, saves, retention, engagement.

• Uses performance data to refine hooks, formats, and narrative structures.

• Works with Analytics and Strategy teams to translate insights into better writing.

• Writes with platform behaviour in mind (Instagram and YouTube).

Content Operations & Scale

• Manages high-volume content output without compromising quality or clarity.

Your Experience

• 4–5 years of experience in digital-first agencies, content studios, or social-led teams.

• Proven experience writing high-performing social content at scale.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-output environments.

\n About the job\n

\n\n

About Us

Humour Me is a modern creative company built for the speed and culture of today. We partner with brands to drive relevance, shape conversations, and deliver tangible business impact through ideas that travel.

Founded in 2012, Humour Me is an independent agency based in New Delhi, recognised globally with a Bronze Cannes Lion (2026), alongside honours at The Webby Awards and 16+ international awards across storytelling, filmmaking, animation, and new media.

From Paper Boat, Duolingo, BigBasket, Airtel, Xiaomi, 1mg, Dunzo, Arctic Fox and Heads Up For Tails to many more, we've helped build some of India's most culturally resonant brands.

The Role: Executive Creative Director

We are looking for an Executive Creative Director to lead the creative vision of the agency.

This is not just a leadership role — it is a creative stewardship role.

You will define the standard of thinking, storytelling, and craft at Humour Me. You will shape the agency’s voice in the industry, mentor the next generation of creative leaders, and partner with business leadership to drive growth through ideas.

You should be someone whose work has influenced culture, not just campaigns. Ideally, you've built your reputation in a social-first environment and understand how brands earn attention organically before they buy it.

What You’ll Do

Own the creative vision of the agency — setting the bar for ideas, storytelling, and execution across all clients and platforms.

Drive culture-shaping work across social-first ecosystems, creating ideas that earn organic attention, get talked about, travel across platforms, and build lasting brand memory.

Champion a social-first creative approach, leveraging a deep understanding of organic content, creator culture, platform behaviours, and internet trends to help brands stay culturally relevant.

Lead from the front on marquee clients and new business, defining the strategic and creative approach for key pitches.

Be the final creative authority — reviewing, shaping, and elevating work across teams to ensure it is distinctive and world-class.

Build and mentor a high-performance creative leadership layer (Creative Directors, Writers, Art Directors), not just individuals.

Integrate storytelling across formats — from social-first content to long-form, campaigns, and brand platforms.

Partner deeply with clients — becoming a trusted creative voice and strategic collaborator at the highest level.

Champion a culture of craft and curiosity — pushing teams to constantly evolve with platforms, formats, and culture.

Represent Humour Me externally — at industry forums, awards, and within the broader creative ecosystem.

Contribute to agency growth — influencing hiring, capability building, and the evolution of our creative product.

What You Bring

12–15+ years of experience in leading creative roles across top agencies or creative companies.

A body of award-winning work that has strong cultural and business impact (mandatory).

Proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary creative teams and build future leaders.

Deep expertise in modern storytelling, with a strong social-first background spanning organic content, digital, film, and integrated campaigns.

A proven understanding of the organic content ecosystem across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and emerging platforms, with a track record of creating work that earns attention without relying on paid media.

Experience building brands through always-on social content, creator collaborations, and culturally relevant storytelling, not just campaign bursts.

Demonstrated success in winning and leading new business pitches.

Ability to operate at both macro (vision, brand platforms) and micro (scripts, edits, craft) levels.

A point of view on where creativity and culture are headed — and how brands should show up.

Core Competencies

Creative Leadership: Sets vision, inspires teams, and builds a culture of excellence.

Taste & Judgment: Knows what great looks like — and pushes work to get there.

Social-First Thinking: Understands platform culture, audience behaviour, and how to create organic content that people choose to engage with and share.

Strategic Thinking: Connects ideas to real business outcomes.

Influence: Builds trust with senior clients and internal stakeholders.

Mentorship: Develops future creative leaders, not just delivers output.

Adaptability: Evolves with platforms, formats, and the changing creative landscape.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Creative Manager – Copy who lives and breathes social. Someone who understands how content travels, why people stop scrolling, and how writing directly impacts AWT, shares, saves, and brand recall. This is not a pure ideation role. It's an ops + strategy heavy position- owning daily content output, ensuring consistency, and driving results at scale. You'll make sure content is sharp, on-brand, and high-performing.

• Ensures messaging consistency across daily content, series, and campaigns.

• Works closely with production and design to execute content efficiently.

• Owns timelines, revisions, and delivery for assigned brands or creators.

Brand Thinking & Ownership

• Takes end-to-end ownership of content outcomes- not just copy delivery.

• Protects brand tone, messaging, and positioning across all content.

• Proactively flags gaps, opportunities, and inconsistencies.

Your Experience

• 4–5 years of experience in digital-first agencies, content studios, or social-led teams.

• Proven experience writing high-performing social content at scale.

• Strong understanding of Instagram and YouTube content ecosystems.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-output environments.

Must-Have Mindset

• A writer of today who understands modern content consumption patterns.

• Lives and breathes social content.

• Outcome-focused and accountable for performance, not just output.

• Diligent about quality, consistency, and follow-through.

• Enjoys building systems and processes that help content scale.
