Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop seasonal knitwear collections aligned with the Louis Philippe brand vision and business objectives.
- Research and interpret global fashion, color, material, and silhouette trends for the premium menswear segment.
- Create mood boards, design concepts, sketches, technical specifications, and artwork for knitwear products.
- Collaborate with merchandising, sourcing, product development, and technical teams to ensure seamless execution from concept to commercialization.
- Develop yarn, stitch, structure, and pattern concepts suitable for the premium menswear market.
- Work closely with vendors and factories on sample development, fit, quality, and costing requirements.
- Monitor product performance and consumer preferences to incorporate insights into future collections.
- Ensure timely completion of design calendars and seasonal milestones.
- Support innovation in knitwear through new constructions, finishes, sustainable materials, and design techniques.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Knitwear Design, Textile Design, or a related field from NIFT, Pearl Academy, or a reputed institute.
- 5–8 years of experience in menswear design, with a strong focus on knitwear(Shirts).
- Experience working with premium or lifestyle fashion brands is preferred.
- Strong understanding of knitwear development, yarns, gauges, constructions, and garment engineering.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design tools.
- Strong trend forecasting, color sense, and commercial design acumen.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
