Reports to: Managing Partner

Location: Thane / Mumbai

Experience: 4–6 years, preferably in a CA firm, CS firm, law firm, consulting firm, or other professional services setup

Education: Open — CA/CA-Inter, CS, MBA (Finance/Sales), or equivalent. Prior experience in professional services strongly preferred over pure sales background.

About The Role

We're looking for an Inside Sales & Sales Support professional to own the front end of our sales process — running first client meetings, handling initial scoping and technical framing, and managing follow-ups through to closure, before handing off to a Partner for deeper technical discussion. This is not a lead-generation role — the focus is on converting and closing opportunities that come to the firm.

What You'll Do

  • Run first client meetings with SME owners exploring CFO Services, Tax Services, Internal Audit, and related offerings
  • Understand the prospect's business, size, and pain points; do a preliminary needs assessment before looping in a Partner for technical depth
  • Handle initial technical framing — explain the firm's approach at a high level, give directional scope and fee estimates, and answer first-level questions confidently
  • Own follow-ups relentlessly — this is the most critical part of the role. Every lead needs to be tracked, chased, and moved forward with discipline; deals are won and lost on the quality and consistency of follow-through
  • Manage the deal from first meeting to proposal and closure, working within a typical 25–30 day cycle
  • Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene in Zoho CRM — every lead, meeting, and follow-up logged and current
  • Identify and flag cross-sell opportunities within the existing client base
  • Coordinate with Partners to schedule technical follow-up meetings and hand off context cleanly
  • Support proposal preparation working alongside the internal proposal/document team

What We're Looking For

  • 4–6 years of experience in sales, client-facing BD, or client success — ideally within a CA firm, CS firm, law firm, consulting firm, or similar professional services environment
  • Comfort discussing financial/advisory concepts at a foundational level — enough to sound credible framing the problem, without needing to solve it
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with SME owners/promoters
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools (Zoho CRM preferred) and genuine discipline around follow-up and sales tracking
  • Self-driven and organized — able to manage a high volume of live opportunities daily without anything slipping through the cracks
