DevOps Engineer – Service Delivery

Responsible for supporting the deployment, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Scitara DLX platforms and customer environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and compliant cloud solutions while ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Support deployment, upgrade, and maintenance of DLX platforms, connector packs, and customer environments on AWS.
• Execute platform operational activities including health checks, monitoring, log analysis, and routine maintenance.
• Participate in validation and qualification activities, including preparation of technical documentation, execution of qualification protocols, and release documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, CSV, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful customer deployments and operational activities.
• Support troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis for customer and platform-related issues.
• Participate in cloud infrastructure management, including Amazon EKS, networking, storage, and related AWS services.
• Support Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation initiatives.
• Contribute to security and compliance activities, including vulnerability assessment, remediation, and infrastructure hardening.
• Support monitoring and observability initiatives to ensure platform availability, reliability, and performance.
• Participate in disaster recovery (DR) drills, platform maintenance, and infrastructure upgrade activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical, operational, and validation documentation, including Configuration Specifications, Test Plans, Test Summary Reports, and Release Notes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Share technical knowledge and collaborate effectively within the Service Delivery team.

Ideal Candidate

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Operations, or Service Delivery.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience supporting production environments and customer-facing operations.
• Exposure to regulated environments (Life Sciences/Pharma) is an advantage.

Desired Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, EC2, VPC, S3, EKS, Route 53, ELB/ALB, CloudWatch, SNS, SES, EventBridge, and related services.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS administration.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Linux administration and scripting using Shell or Python.
• Understanding of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience with incident management and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Understanding of cloud security best practices and vulnerability management.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and customer-focused environment.
