About Company

Company is a reputed interior design firm based in Chandigarh, known for delivering high-quality, innovative, and bespoke design solutions. As we expand our footprint in the government and public sector domains, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Portal Executive to manage and scale our B2G (Business-to-Government) operations.

Job Overview

· Position: GeM Portal Executive / Specialist

· Location: Chandigarh (On-site)

· Experience Required: 8 to 18 years of hands-on experience on the GeM Portal

· Industry Preference: Interior Design, Architecture, Turnkey Projects, Furniture, or Civil Construction

· Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

1. Portal Management & Compliance

· Complete day-to-day management of the GeM portal, including brand creation, OEM panel management, and product/service listing.

· Regular uploading and optimization of product catalogs and services relevant to interior designing, furniture, and turnkey projects.

· Monitor the portal daily for relevant upcoming tenders, bids, and Direct Purchase orders.

2. Tender & Bidding Management

· Analyze and understand technical and financial eligibility criteria for interior design and turnkey project tenders.

· Prepare, compile, and upload all required technical and financial bidding documents flawlessly before deadlines.

· Coordinate with internal teams (design, finance, and procurement) to gather accurate data for bid preparation.

3. Order Execution & Liaison

· Track the status of submitted bids, financial evaluations, and order allocations.

· Handle order acceptance, generate invoices, and manage online/offline documentation for smooth delivery.

· Liaise with government department officials and procurement officers regarding technical clarifications, order updates, and payments.

4. Risk & Payment Tracking

· Monitor and manage the timely receipt of payments, refunds of EMD (Earnest Money Deposit), and PBG (Performance Bank Guarantee).

· Address and resolve any disputes, clarifications, or rejections on the portal effectively.

Candidate Requirements

· Experience: Minimum 4–8 years of proven experience handling the GeM portal, preferably with a reputed interior design, furniture manufacturing, or turnkey contracting firm.

· MANDATORY Experience in tendering of various civil and interior in govt departments like

· University

· CPWD

· State PWD

· Uprnl

· GSIDC

· IITs

· Gem portal

· Etc

· Education: Graduate in any stream (Commerce, Business Administration, or related fields preferred).

· Technical Skills: * Advanced knowledge of GeM portal algorithms, bidding strategies, and documentation.

o Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and PDF editing tools.

· Soft Skills:

o Exceptional attention to detail to ensure zero compliance errors in bidding.

o Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective government liaisoning.

o Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
