Role Description The Head Corporate Human Resources will lead the HR function for Augustus Transport LLC, overseeing strategic and operational initiatives across the organization. This full-time, on-site role is based in Gurugram and includes responsibility for designing and implementing HR policies, processes, and compliance frameworks aligned with business goals. The role involves managing end-to-end talent management, including workforce planning, recruitment oversight, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and development programs. The Head Corporate HR will drive employer branding initiatives, foster positive employee relations, and partner with leadership to shape organizational culture and engagement. Day-to-day activities include guiding HR teams, collaborating with functional leaders, resolving complex people-related issues, and using HR data and metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).
- 6–10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a fast-growing organization.
- Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment across multiple departments and leadership hiring.
- Hands-on experience implementing HR policies, SOPs, HRMS, payroll, attendance, leave management, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment, etc.).
- Experience building or improving HR systems from scratch is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and take ownership without constant supervision.
- Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing performance management systems (KPIs/KRAs), employee engagement, and organizational development.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, HRMS platforms, ATS, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or B2B service industries is an advantage.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with ambitious business goals.
