Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting and financial processes for clients, including posting transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing reports, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The selected candidate will collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure accuracy, compliance with policies, and adherence to timelines. Responsibilities may include working with accounting software, validating data, resolving discrepancies, and contributing to process improvements. The role also requires maintaining organized documentation and communicating clearly with supervisors and clients regarding financial findings and status updates.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge in accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Comfort working with accounting or ERP software and proficiency in MS Excel and related office tools.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to analyze financial data and identify variances.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional and client-facing teams.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a structured, process-driven environment.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA part-qualified) are an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and flexibility to support international clients and time zones if required.
- Experience in hospitality, real estate, or other service-based industries is a plus, but motivated early-career candidates are also encouraged to apply.
