Purpose of the role
The purpose of this role is to support the Keyloop Lead Counsel for Sales and Professional Services with the provision of legal support to our Sales and Professional Services functions. The role is based in India, and the person in it will work closely with colleagues and customers in the UK and other markets around the world, so the remit is genuinely global rather than India specific.

Purpose of the role
The purpose of this role is to support the Keyloop Lead Counsel for Sales and Professional Services with the provision of legal support to our Sales and Professional Services functions. The role is based in India, and the person in it will work closely with colleagues and customers in the UK and other markets around the world, so the remit is genuinely global rather than India specific.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support and negotiate enterprise sales opportunities with global automotive brands, national sales companies and large automotive dealer customers, primarily in the UK and other international markets
- Responsible for processing variations to the standard terms and conditions, globally, ensuring alignment with the laws of the jurisdictions in which our customers operate, including the UK
- Support the Lead Counsel, Sales and Professional Services, with the maintenance of standard documents including the standard customer T&Cs playbook, template Statement of Works and a suite of templates and internal guidelines for enterprise sales opportunities
- Support the Lead Counsel, Sales and Professional Services, with the maintenance of standard documents and governance relating to Professional Services involvement in the sales cycle
- Advise on data protection, IT and technology contracting considerations relevant to UK and other cross-border deals, including relevant UK data protection legislation, where applicable
- Point of contact for any ad hoc legal queries from Professional Services and business teams across the UK and other markets Keyloop serves
- Liaise with external counsel in the UK and other jurisdictions as needed for local law advice, filings, or dispute matters arising from sales contracts
- Qualified lawyer, enrolled with the Bar Council of India or an equivalent recognised qualification, with a strong working knowledge of English and Welsh contract law and international commercial contracting, given the UK and global scope of the role
- Experience of the legal workstream for B2B software or technology deals, ranging from providing legal assistance at the Request for Proposal stage through to contract execution
- Working knowledge of UK contract law and data protection or privacy requirements relevant to technology and SaaS contracting, along with an appreciation of how these considerations vary across other markets Keyloop serves
- Excellent drafting skills, with fluency in English
- Sound knowledge of the key principles and risks associated with the provision of technology solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate legal principles into simple, practical guidance for commercial and sales teams
- Comfortable working across time zones with global stakeholders, including teams in the UK and other regions, since this role is based in India but supports a global remit
