Job Description
Expectation and Accountability
Manage the demand planning process for the assigned portfolio, with an emphasis on providing an accurate demand signal to the raw materials & finished goods planning teams, with the ultimate goal of improving service levels to our end customers through improved forecast accuracy.
Requirements
Experience in demand planning for an area / region, Strong Expertise in Demand Planning, Be able to Convince with extensive knowledge of markets and relevant skills (e.g. forecasting, statistics, trend analysis), strong team player with well-developed interpersonal skills, who can build positive working relationships, Analytical mindset with a customer centric approach.
Update Statistical Forecast with Market input coming from business or customers.
Responsible to improve the overall demand planning performance for the assigned portfolio.
Support in defining the right Make To Strategy & the associated implementation.
Critically challenge the business forecast
Interface to the business on topics relating to business complaints regarding forecast, NPI, PIPO and product portfolio
Identify & implement activities & opportunities for enhanced customer collaboration to build long term visibility on forecast numbers
Minimize the number of changes in the defined planning frozen zone
Challenge The Forecast Figures Coming From Other Regions (intercompany)
Review forecast consumption and optimization
Monitor Lifecycle Management and related system changes
Support controlling to develop one forecast
Open contracts quantity vs. call offs/ forecast analysis and alignment together with Account managers
Carry out the future projection modelling for the 5-year plan (x5)
Tactical & strategical demand planning for regional capacity analysis & conclusions
Linking Sales & Supply Chain
Ensure history cleansing, analysing the trends & outliers
New customer / material / flow integration in IBP
IBP statistical forecast parameter management and improvement
Business scenario planning and risk management
