Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and create effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, Exploratory, and UI testing.
• Execute end-to-end testing for web applications, APIs, and AI-powered features.
• Validate AI-based applications such as chatbots and LLM-powered workflows for expected behavior, accuracy, and usability.
• Perform API testing using Postman or Swagger.
• Identify, report, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Validate application data using basic SQL queries.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and AI engineers in Agile teams.
• Maintain test cases, test execution reports, and QA documentation.
• Participate in sprint planning, release validation, and QA reviews. Required Technical Skills
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Sanity, and Exploratory Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar bug tracking tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP methods.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is an added advantage.
  
  

Basic AI Knowledge (Preferred)

• Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or similar.
• Basic understanding of prompt-based applications and AI chatbots.
• Awareness of testing AI-generated responses for accuracy, consistency, and edge cases.
• Curiosity to learn and work on AI and Agentic AI applications. Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in Manual Testing (internships, academic projects, or full-time experience).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-driven, collaborative, and eager to learn emerging technologies.
