Fixed Basic Salary: ₹10,000 per month
Incentives: Performance-based incentives; total monthly earnings may reach ₹20,000–₹25,000 depending on performance.
About the Company
Detective Monkey is an education technology startup developing digital and AI-powered solutions for schools. We have been selected under an incubation programme of the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) and are currently completing the onboarding process.
The selected candidate will initially work remotely for approximately two to three months. Once our office becomes operational, the candidate must be willing to work from the office in Assam. An applicable duty or travel allowance will be provided after office-based operations begin, according to company policy.
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated fresher or early-career professional for the position of People Operations & Sales Coordination Executive.
This is a hybrid role combining HR operations, recruitment, employee management and sales-team coordination. The selected candidate should be comfortable managing people, following up on assigned work, communicating with candidates and employees, and supporting sales activities.
Freshers may apply, but candidates with previous internships, volunteering, campus leadership or practical exposure to HR, recruitment, customer service or sales coordination will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Post job vacancies, screen applications and schedule interviews.
• Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Coordinate employee onboarding, induction and documentation.
• Maintain employee records, attendance, leave details and HR documents.
• Assist with offer letters, employment agreements, joining documents and exit formalities.
• Monitor employee probation periods, KPIs and performance targets.
• Prepare weekly recruitment, employee performance and activity reports.
• Coordinate daily work updates and follow up on pending responsibilities.
• Support management during performance reviews and employee discussions.
• Coordinate with the sales team regarding leads, school visits, demonstrations and follow-ups.
• Maintain and regularly update sales lead and conversion trackers.
• Follow up with sales executives to ensure their school-visit and lead information is properly recorded.
• Communicate professionally with prospective schools when required.
• Support the recruitment and onboarding of sales executives, interns and other employees.
• Assist management with general people operations and administrative responsibilities.
Candidate Requirements
• Graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, Management, Marketing or a related field.
• Freshers and early-career candidates are welcome to apply.
• Previous internship or practical exposure to HR, recruitment, sales, customer support or team coordination is preferred.
• Basic understanding of recruitment, onboarding, attendance, leave management, probation, payroll inputs and performance evaluation.
• Strong communication, coordination and people-management skills.
• Comfortable making calls and following up with candidates, employees and sales representatives.
• Working knowledge of Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive and email.
• Ability to maintain confidential employee and company information.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Fluency in Assamese, Hindi and English will be an advantage.
• Must be willing to transition from remote work to office-based work in Assam.
Compensation
• Fixed basic salary: ₹10,000 per month.
• Additional performance-based incentives.
• Total monthly earnings may reach approximately ₹20,000–₹25,000 for strong performance.
• Applicable duty or travel allowance will be provided after office-based operations begin, according to company policy.
The incentive amount is performance-based and is not guaranteed as part of the fixed salary.
