ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Pharmacist Domain Expert at Sourcebae, you will leverage your knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, adverse drug reactions, and clinical therapeutics to train, evaluate, and correct AI language models on medication-related content. You will review AI-generated pharmaceutical advice for accuracy and safety, identify dangerous drug recommendations, create gold-standard drug information datasets, and help build AI guardrails that prevent medical harm. This role is ideal for D.Pharm, B.Pharm, and M.Pharm graduates — whether you are a practicing pharmacist, a PG aspirant, or seeking flexible supplementary income alongside your pharmacy career. No coding or AI experience is required — Sourcebae provides comprehensive training on all annotation tools and evaluation frameworks.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Drug Safety Evaluation: Review AI-generated responses about medications — dosages, indications, contraindications, side effects, drug-drug interactions, and drug-food interactions — and rate them for clinical accuracy, safety, and completeness.

• Prescription Error Detection: Identify dangerous AI outputs: incorrect dosages, wrong routes of administration, contraindicated drug combinations, missed allergy warnings, and outdated drug information. Document each error with the correct pharmacological position.

• RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback): Compare two or more AI-generated pharmaceutical responses side by side and rank them based on clinical accuracy, patient safety, dosing precision, and practical applicability — providing detailed written justifications for your rankings.

• Drug Information Dataset Creation: Create structured pharmaceutical Q&A pairs covering drug classifications, mechanism of action, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic uses, adverse effects, and patient counseling points for AI model training.

• Formulary & Guideline Annotation: Annotate drug formulary data, treatment guidelines (WHO, CDSCO, ICMR), and standard treatment protocols with structured metadata: drug class, indication, dosage range, pregnancy category, and interaction severity.

• Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) Labeling: Label and categorize adverse drug reaction reports, pharmacovigilance data, and safety signals to train AI models on post-market drug safety monitoring.

• Red-Teaming & Stress Testing: Design adversarial pharmaceutical queries to stress-test AI models: polypharmacy scenarios, pediatric/geriatric dosing edge cases, narrow therapeutic index drugs, and look-alike/sound-alike drug confusion scenarios.

WHO SHOULD APPLY — ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS

Must-Have Qualifications

• D.Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm / Pharm.D degree from a recognized institution — mandatory

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology: drug classifications, mechanisms of action, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics

• Understanding of drug interactions (drug-drug, drug-food, drug-disease), contraindications, and adverse drug reactions

• Familiarity with Indian Pharmacopoeia, WHO Essential Medicines List, CDSCO guidelines, and standard treatment protocols

• Ability to interpret prescription orders, dosage calculations, and routes of administration

• Strong written English with the ability to write clear, structured clinical content

• Reliable internet connection and personal laptop/desktop for remote work

• Willingness to undergo Sourcebae's AI annotation training program (provided free of cost)

Preferred / Good-to-Have

• M.Pharm / Pharm.D with clinical pharmacy, pharmacology, or pharmaceutical chemistry specialization

• Registration with State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India

• Hospital pharmacy or clinical pharmacy experience

• Experience with drug information services, medication therapy management, or pharmacovigilance

• Knowledge of international drug references: BNF, AHFS Drug Information, Lexicomp, Micromedex

• Multilingual capability (Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, etc.) for regional healthcare AI projects

• Prior experience in medical writing, pharmaceutical documentation, or clinical data management
