Title: Procurement Executive
Location: Delhi
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain Management.
- Experience in a project procurement environment will be preferred.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Executive to support procurement operations for ongoing projects. The role involves managing sourcing activities, coordinating with internal stakeholders and suppliers, tracking purchase orders, and maintaining procurement reports. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with procurement processes, vendor management, and procurement tools such as SAP and ARIBA.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Procurement Support:
- Support procurement activities for ongoing projects and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with Project, Planning, Finance, and other internal teams to understand procurement needs and timelines.
- Ensure timely sourcing, procurement execution, and material availability to support project schedules.
- Assist in maintaining procurement compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
2. RFQ Management & Supplier Coordination:
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) through ARIBA or other procurement platforms.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely submission of quotations.
- Support supplier evaluation, commercial comparisons, and negotiation processes.
- Maintain effective relationships with vendors and monitor supplier responsiveness.
- Experience in ARIBA RFQ management and Reverse Auctions (e-Auctions) will be an added advantage.
3. Purchase Order Management:
- Track the creation, issuance, and closure of Purchase Orders (POs).
- Monitor supplier delivery schedules and proactively follow up to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Coordinate with Stores, Logistics, and Project teams for material receipt and documentation.
- Resolve procurement-related issues and support smooth order execution.
4. MIS, Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare and maintain procurement MIS reports and dashboards.
- Track procurement cycle times, supplier performance, savings, and compliance metrics.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of procurement reports.
- Maintain procurement records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain Management.
- Experience in a project procurement environment will be preferred.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Good understanding of procurement processes, sourcing, and purchasing documentation.
- Hands-on experience with SAP, ARIBA, or similar procurement systems.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and procurement reporting.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and follow-up abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in ARIBA RFQ management and Reverse Auctions (e-Auctions).
- Exposure to project-based procurement and vendor performance management.
- Knowledge of procurement compliance and reporting best practices.
