Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Enquiry Generation
Visit customers to generate inquiries for:
- Pharma machinery
- Machine upgradation & retrofitting
- Duct cleaning systems
- Identify new business opportunities in pharma, API, and related industries.
- Promote company products and services to expand market reach.
2. Sales Target Achievement
- Achieve order booking targets within the assigned territory.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans for regional growth.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and track progress.
3. Customer Engagement
- Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical solutions.
- Deliver presentations and product demonstrations for pharmaceutical machinery and projects.
- Build long-term relationships with key customers across India.
4. Order Conversion & Follow-up
- Follow up with customers for:
- Quotation approvals
- Purchase order finalization
- Ensure timely closure of sales opportunities.
5. Payment Collection
- Coordinate with customers for timely payment collection.
- Ensure adherence to company credit policies.
6. Commercial Negotiation
- Handle techno-commercial discussions with customers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to close deals profitably.
7. WIP & Key Account Handling
- Manage Pan India customers for ongoing (WIP) projects.
- Coordinate internally for execution updates and customer communication.
8. Market & Product Knowledge
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs.
- Contribute insights for product and service improvement.
Experience:
- 1 –6 years of experience in:
- Pharma machinery sales / industrial sales
