About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to help build and maintain a world-class quality assurance process.

You'll work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to ensure every release is reliable, scalable, and delivers an exceptional customer experience. This role requires someone who enjoys building automated testing frameworks while also having the curiosity to investigate complex product issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications.
• Build scalable UI, API, and end-to-end automation frameworks.
• Create automated regression test suites to support continuous delivery.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive manual testing processes.
• Work closely with developers during feature development to improve testability.
• Review product requirements and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
• Perform exploratory testing for new features before release.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cycles.
• Monitor product quality metrics and continuously improve testing processes.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests into deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with customer support to reproduce and resolve production issues.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive behavior across devices.
• Validate performance, usability, and reliability of new releases.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation frameworks.
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools.
• Good programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
• Experience working with Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Strong understanding of defect tracking systems such as Jira.
• Knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
