Role : Assistant Vice President (AVP) / Vice President (VP) – Investment Banking
Location : Bengaluru

Our client is a leading boutique investment banking firmwith a strong track record of advising corporates, promoters, private equity funds, family offices, and strategic investors across M&A, private equity fundraising, capital raising, and strategic advisory mandates. The firm works across diverse sectors and provides professionals with significant client exposure and end-to-end transaction ownership.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead end-to-end execution of M&A, private equity fundraising, strategic advisory, and capital raising mandates.
- Prepare and review complex financial models, valuation analyses (DCF, Comparable Companies, Precedent Transactions, LBO), and transaction structures.
- Develop pitch books, Information Memorandums (IMs), management presentations, teasers, investor presentations, and transaction marketing materials.
- Manage the transaction process from mandate initiation through due diligence, negotiations, documentation, signing, and deal closure.
- Conduct industry research, company analysis, financial analysis, and competitive benchmarking to formulate investment and strategic recommendations.
- Coordinate with clients, investors, legal advisors, auditors, consultants, and other stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Support senior leadership in business development initiatives, client pitches, proposal preparation, and mandate origination.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporates, private equity funds, venture capital firms, family offices, strategic investors, and financial institutions.
- Mentor and supervise Analysts and Associates, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution across live mandates.
- Manage multiple live transactions while maintaining strong attention to detail and execution quality
Experience :
- 5+ years of relevant Investment Banking experience with an investment bank, boutique advisory firm, Big Four Corporate Finance practice, or transaction advisory platform.
- Demonstrated experience in executing M&A, private equity fundraising, capital raising, or strategic advisory transactions.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, accounting, and transaction execution skills.
- Hands-on experience preparing information memoranda, pitch books, financial models, teasers, and management presentations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently manage workstreams and interact directly with senior client management.
- Experience mentoring junior team members is preferred.
Educational Qualification :
- MBA/PGDM from a reputed B-School, CA, CFA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong academic record preferred.
