Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing high-quality video content for commercial advertisements, corporate films, social media campaigns, promotional videos, documentaries, brand stories, and other client projects while ensuring consistency with creative concepts and brand guidelines.

Daily responsibilities include assembling raw footage, selecting the best shots, adding transitions, syncing audio, refining sound, incorporating music and graphics, and exporting final videos optimized for multiple digital platforms. The role also involves professional color correction and grading, creating and integrating motion graphics, titles, animations, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with directors, cinematographers, designers, and the creative team throughout the production process. They should be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining organized project files and media assets, meeting deadlines, and contributing creative ideas during pre-production and post-production discussions. Experience with cinematic editing, virtual production, and Unreal Engine-based workflows will be considered an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in video production and professional video editing, including assembling footage, applying transitions, audio synchronization, and exporting content for multiple digital platforms.
• Proficiency in color correction and color grading to achieve cinematic and brand-consistent visuals.
• Experience creating and integrating motion graphics, animations, typography, and visual effects to enhance storytelling.
• Hands-on expertise with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent professional editing software.
• Basic knowledge of audio editing, sound mixing, and audio enhancement techniques.
• Experience with Unreal Engine for cinematic rendering, virtual production, camera animation, environment creation, lighting, and real-time visualization is highly desirable.
• Understanding of Unreal Engine Sequencer and real-time 3D production workflows is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of cinematography, visual storytelling, pacing, composition, and editing principles across various content formats.
• Familiarity with video codecs, compression standards, export settings, and platform-specific optimization for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced creative environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional creative teams while incorporating feedback efficiently.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Animation, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Previous experience in a production house, creative agency, digital media company, or film studio is preferred.
